Sir,
APPLICATION FOR RELOCATION ON SECURITY GROUNDS
I am Oluwaseun Adekunle, a corps member with call-up number NYSC/KN/2024/012345, Batch A, Stream 1, currently serving at Government Secondary School, Zaria, Kaduna State.
I am writing to request for a relocation to Lagos State on security grounds. I have been facing serious security challenges in my current state of deployment since I reported for service. On several occasions, I have witnessed or heard of attacks by bandits and kidnappers on corps members and other residents of Zaria and its environs. I have also received threats from unknown persons who demand ransom or else they will kidnap me or harm me.
These incidents have made me live in constant fear and anxiety, which have adversely affected my health and performance at my PPA. I have attached a copy of my medical report from the NYSC clinic, which shows that I have been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depression as a result of the security situation.
I have chosen Lagos State as my preferred state of relocation because I have relatives who live there and who have agreed to host me for the remaining period of my service year. I also have a job offer from a reputable company in Lagos, which I intend to pursue after my service year.
I humbly appeal to the NYSC management to grant my request and approve my relocation to Lagos State on security grounds. I am ready to abide by the rules and regulations of the scheme and serve my country diligently in any capacity.
I appreciate your kind consideration and cooperation.
Yours faithfully,
Oluwaseun Adekunle
