General Requirements for IAUE Recruitment 2024

There are certain requirements you must meet before you can apply:

Advanced competency in written and oral English with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in a professional work environment.
Interested applicants must be physically and mentally fit.
Interested applicants must be of good behavior and composure
All candidates must have a valid means of identification such as a valid driver license, National Identification Card, International passport, Voters card, or NIN number.
A minimum of five (5) credits including English and Mathematics in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE).
Interested candidates should not be more than 40 years at the time of application.
Possession of B.Sc, HND, NCE, OND in relation to the applied position from a recognized institution.
Must have completed the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
Professional qualifications and/or certifications proffer will be an added advantage.
Must be adaptable and demonstrate the ability to traverse different assignments and work locations.

Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUOE) Recruitment 2024

Consequent upon the approval of his Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State and Visitor to Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt for employment of Teaching and Non-teaching staff, applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for employment in the University.

1.) Nursing Officer II

A candidate must possess a minimum of B.Sc Degree in Nursing from a recognized University and has registered with the Nursing and Midwife Council of Nigeria (NMCN), plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.

2.) Community Health Officer II

A candidate must possess a Degree in Community Health from a recognized University plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.

3.) Medical Laboratory Scientist II

A Candidate must possess Associate Membership of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technologist (AIMIT) or Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a recognized University, and registered with the Institute of Medical Laboratory of Nigeria plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.

4.) Medical Laboratory Technologist II

A candidate must possess a B.Tech from a recognized University, or Final Diploma of the Nigerian Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) or HND/HNC with at least 3 years post-qualification experience, plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.

5.) Senior Assistant Medical Laboratory Technologist

A candidate must possess OND or ONC from a relevant institution or Intermediate Certificate of the Nigerian Institute of Science and Technology (NIST).

6.) Medical Records Technician

Associate Membership of the Association of Medical Records Technicians
Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators
Certificate of Registration of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology for Technical cadres after successful completion of the prescribed three (3) years of training programme.

7.) Physical Planning Officer II

A candidate must possess a Degree in Architecture from a recognized University plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.

8.) Engineer II (Civil)

A candidate must possess a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.

A candidate must possess a B. 14.) Agricultural Superintendent II

A candidate must possess a Diploma OND/ONC in Agricultural Science from a recognized relevant institution.

15.) Workshop Technologist

A candidate must possess a B.Sc.Ed in Technical Education from a recognized University plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate.

16.) Laboratory Attendant

A candidate must possess SSC or its equivalent with credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.

17.) Home Economics / Workshop Attendant

A candidate must possess SSC or its equivalent with credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings
Must also have relevant skill in Catering, Tailoring and Home Making.

A candidate must possess a Degree in Accounting from a recognized University or HND in Accountancy from a recognized relevant institution with at least two (2) years post-qualification experience plus NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate

24.) Pharmacist

A candidate must possess the Newly Registered Nurses Network (NRN) or Nurse Case Manager (NCM) or its equivalent qualification and must have registered with the Nursing and Midwife Council of Nigeria (NMCN).

26.) Messenger

A candidate must possess SSC or its equivalent with credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.

27.) Labourer

A candidate must possess a First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).

28.) Porter

The candidate should possess a minimum of five (5) credits including English Language and Mathematics at SSC or its equivalent at not more than two (2) sittings.

29.) Security Officer II

The candidate must possess a Degree in Law / Criminology / Social Work / Psychology or any other relevant discipline with NYSC Discharge / Exemption / Exclusion Certificate and at least three (3) years post-qualification experience.

30.) Assistant Security Officer

A candidate must possess SSC or its equivalent at not more than two sittings with credit in five (5) subjects, including English Language and Mathematics plus at least three (3) years experience as Police Inspector or Warrant Officer in the Nigerian Armed Forces. ii. The Candidate must also possess certificate in Safety and Security.

31.) Patrol Man II

A candidate must possess SSC or its equivalent with credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language and Mathematics, or ii. Ex-Police Corporal or its equivalent rank in the Armed Forces with clear records of service and three (3) credits in SSC and its equivalent including English Language and Mathematics.

32.) Assistant Patrol Man Supervisor

An Ex-Police Sergeant or its equivalent rank in the Armed Forces with five (5) credits in SSC or its equivalent including English Language and Mathematics or Certificate or Diploma in Safety and Security Management.

33.) Higher Data Processing Officer

A candidate must possess an OND in Data Processing or Computer Science from a recognized institution plus at least five (5) years post-qualification cognate experience.
