1. Log in to your dashboard on the NYSC portal https://portal.nysc.org.ng using your email and password.
2. Click on “Apply for Name Correction” under the “Registration” menu.
3. Select the option that applies to you: “Spelling Error”, “Re-arrangement”, or “Addition”.
4. Fill in the required fields with the correct spelling or arrangement of your name. Make sure you follow the format of “Surname, Firstname, Middlename”.
5. Click on “Submit” and wait for a confirmation message.
6. Check your dashboard again to see if your name has been updated. If not, contact the NYSC support team via email (nyscsupport@sidmach.com) or phone (08147869429).
7. Print your green card and call-up letter with the corrected name.

Note: You can only apply for name correction once, so make sure you do it right the first time. Also, you can only do it before you print your call-up letter, otherwise you will have to go to the NYSC headquarters in Abuja to make the changes.
